Kefir is similar to yogurt, full of gut-friendly probiotics. But it has fewer carbs and a more drinkable consistency--perfect for smoothies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat plain kefir (see tip)
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions

  1. Combine kefir, berries, juice, mint to taste and honey in a blender. Process until smooth. (The smoothies will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 day or in the freezer for up to 3 months.)
