Cool Whip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 package (15-1/4 ounces) chocolate cake mix
- 1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Directions
- In a large bowl, beat cake mix, whipped topping and egg at medium speed until incorporated. Cover; chill 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°. Place confectioners' sugar in a shallow dish. Using a greased scoop or spoon, drop tablespoons of dough into sugar; roll each in confectioners' sugar until completely coated. Place 2-in. apart on parchment-lined baking sheets.
- Bake until edges are just set, 11-13 minutes. Cool on pans 5 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
