Sheet Pan Beef & Cabbage Noodles
Forget the wok and all that stirring! This stir-fry recipe comes together in only 20 minutes on one baking sheet under the broiler. The trick to a perfect sheet-pan stir-fry is making sure your ingredients are spread out well on the pan so everything cooks evenly.
Ingredients
- 1 (7.1-ounce) package microwaveable udon stir-fry noodles
- 4 cups shredded coleslaw mix
- 2 cups snow peas
- 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons refrigerated garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon refrigerated ginger paste
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 12 ounces shaved beef steak
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Position oven rack 6 inches from heat source; preheat broiler. On a large rimmed baking sheet, gently pull apart noodles; toss with coleslaw mix, snow peas, hoisin, soy sauce, garlic paste, ginger paste and crushed red pepper until combined.
- Spread the mixture into an even layer, covering the entire baking sheet. Arrange beef evenly over the noodle mixture; drizzle the beef with sesame oil.
- Broil until the beef is browned in spots and cabbage is wilted, about 7 minutes. Toss the mixture with tongs until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles. Divide the noodles and beef among 4 bowls. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
